Parking Areas and Building Access
**Please allow approximately 15 minutes prior to class to park, walk to the building and pass through security screening. **
The main Visitor Parking Lot is located on S. 5th Street, between Byrd and Tredegar (5th Street dead ends at Tredegar). Please note - parking will be tight because of construction in the area. Other than the main Visitor Parking Lot, there is available public parking on all blocks and corners of the building on a first come, first serve basis.
The main Visitor Parking Lot is approximately a 5-minute walk to the building. From the Visitor Lot, walk east along Tredegar toward 6th Street. Walk north along 6th Street to the side entrance of the building. Buzz the intercom at the security door and tell the officers you are attending VCPI training. Please have photo identification ready to pass through security screening.
Weapons are authorized for law enforcement officers with credentials; if officers attending the training are in civilian clothes, weapons must be concealed and credentials displayed.
