Verbal Intervention & Violence Assessment: How to Predict & Prevent Violence Using Threat Profiling

In the daily operation of a police unit, officers interact with the public, witnesses and criminal suspects.  Understanding the mind of these individuals as it relate to deception or violent behaviors is critical for effective investigation or the prediction and prevention of violence to law enforcement.

In 1996 Criminal Analyst Dale Yeager developed the V.I.V.A. system of Threat Profiling.  The VIVA program is an interactive seminar that provides all of the tools necessary for police professionals to improve their ability to assess motive and behavior.

Participants will be taken through various segments covering:
• Understanding Human Nature and Violence
• Understanding the Mind of Violent People
• Male and Female Behavioral Patterns as they relate to Violence
• Verbal Manipulation of Aggressive and Violent People to Prevent Attack
